You can apply for Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (also known as “Section 8”) by downloading our application from the website. An original application must be signed and submitted by mail or in person.
Wait times for rental assistance can be anywhere between 6 months to a year or longer.
MHA does not offer emergency shelter at this time.
After you Apply
Please keep your personal contact information up to date. When your application reaches the top of the waitlist, you will be notified by phone or regular mail. If we are unable to contact you due to a change of address or phone number, you will be removed from the waitlist.
After applying, you are required to update any changes in your family composition, address, phone number, email address, and income. All changes must be completed in person.
